Russian forces have launched hundreds of missile strikes in Ukraine over the past week, most of them at civilian targets, a senior US military official said Friday.
President Vladimir Putin said he has no regrets about the missile barrage. He added there was no need for more massive strikes "at least for now."
Russia's Rostov region is to receive Kherson residents after Moscow announced evacuations from the occupied region in the face of Ukraine's counteroffensive.
The US said it will be providing an additional $725 million in military assistance to Kyiv.
