Now articles from places like Variety Magazine are starting to confirm everything we said about how Disney / Reedy Creek would reform under Sections 189 and 190 of Florida State law and therefore have to start playing by the same rules as EVERY other special taxing district in the state of Florida. No more special privileges for the Magic Kingdom.

Reedy Creek has until July 1st 2023, to reapply and they absolutely will be approved, but NOT with the original unicorn autonomy they were granted in 1967.

After Disney challenged the will of Florida voters over the passage of Florida House Bill 1557 - The Parental Rights In Education Bill (erroneously referred to as the "Dont Say Gay Bill") and the leaks by Chris Rufo of the ReImagine Tomorrow Critical Race Theory program, Florida lawmakers finally had the political will to do what they had only talked about for decades and stripped Reedy Creek of it special tax status.
