Coffee & Chili Rubbed NY Strips on the Blackstone Griddle

Really have to give it to my buddy Joe on this one. Actually think it was his wife and was wanting to take credit. He's slack like that with some ashy skin too.

If you're looking for something different for steaks, then this is a must try! Throw these on the Blackstone or the grill, and you'll be sure to please your crowd.

Ingredients:

1.5 teaspoon ancho chili powder
1.5 teaspoons ground coffee (I used a fine ground Honduras coffee, can do espresso)
3/4 teaspoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon coriander
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flake (can do some cayenne too if you want)
1/2 teaspoon gun powder (see Amazon store to get some)
1/4 stick butter for butter bath
