Joyce Wright is fighting for her husband Frankie at the University of Utah Salt Lake City

On October 10th, 2022, hospital doctors discontinued nutrition and dialysis for Frankie Wright. This patient is unable to speak for himself, and per Utah Law, the medical decisions are transferred to the spouse Joyce Wright. The hospital continues to not provide clinical updates and information for the wife Joyce Wright to be informed about his status and plan of care. The hospital continues to tell her that she is not the guardian of Frankie and cannot make any decisions about his care. Joyce Wright has not seen any documentation of this guardianship the hospital speaks of as they are not willing to even have an Ethics meeting with her.
