Beijing tightens security, COVID measures before Congress

Beijing authorities on Friday (October 14) stepped up security and COVID curbs in the Chinese capital for the 20th Communist Party Congress, a once-every-five-year event that brings together 2,300 party members at the vast Great Hall of the People on Tiananmen Square.
