Russia Launches Attacks on Ukrainian Infrastructure 🇷🇺🇺🇦

On Monday morning, Russia launched a series of attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure in response to Saturday’s explosion on the Kerch Bridge in Crimea according to Russian president Vladamir Putin. The airstrikes struck Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipro, Odesa, and Zaporihzhia among other areas, hitting military, energy, and communication targets. The attack included 84 cruise missiles, an amount equivalent or greater to the early stages of the invasion back in February. Ukraine claims half of the missiles were intercepted while Russia denies this. According to Dmitry Medvedev, former president and prime minister of Russia and current Deputy Chairman of the Security Council, the attacks were “the first episode” and “there will be more”.
