Waukesha residents asked to shelter in place after armed carjacking suspects flee on foot

Angela Theus had quite the surprise when she walked outside of her Waukesha home near Hoover Avenue on Wednesday. Dozens of Waukesha police were stationed around her neighborhood looking for armed suspects. "I'm like, what are all these people doing here," said Theus. "With the tornadoes earlier and then this now, I'm having a really eventful day." Waukesha police say they responded to a Shell gas station on West Sunset Drive Wednesday evening for reports of an attempted carjacking.
