What is it in your life,
That you never met directly, as it is,
Rather, always from a distance?
Always from a distance of time.
Isn’t it yourself?
Isn’t it that whenever you tried to meet yourself,
By trying to see,
Trying to know,
Trying to, so-called expose, the nature of that which you are,
You always did it through knowledge, through exercise,
Through self-assurance,
And you never dared to meet yourself with a total question.
You never dare to admit that not knowing that which you are,
Is the most direct observation,
Of that which you are, by itself.
