This man is recognised as one of the richest men in the world, not including the *cough* Rothschilds *cough. Sorry about that, what I was trying to say is his actual net worth was over $300 billion dollars. Some websites even estimating at around $418 billion dollars, adjusted for inflation, of course.

This is more than 2 times the amount of Jeff Bezos at the current value of $140 billion dollars. If we count the $418 billion dollars net worth, this would mean he was richer than Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk, COMBINED. That’s a lot of money, especially taking into account that this was during the 19th and early 20th century, which is pretty amazing.
