President Biden releases first National Security Strategy aimed at China

In the newly released National Security Strategy, President Biden calls out China for its intent to reshape the international order.

The document identifies the world's most populous country as America’s most significant challenge, geopolitically.

The president notes while Russia poses an immediate threat to the free and open international system, China is the only competitor that increasingly has the economic, diplomatic, military and technological power to reshape that system.
