Original Poem:
What I Really Need From You - Suicide Awareness

Bang, Bang
See the pistol I have pointing to my head,
because I’m sick of life and want to be dead!

Drip, Drip
See the blood oozing from my slit wrists,
because I’m tired of life with all its twists!

Gasp, Gasp
See how hard it is for me to take a breath,
because I’m drowning in my watery death!

Gag, Gag
See the puke as it runs down my sorry face,
because gut wrenching pain I can’t erase!

Look, Look
See me jumping to the ground down below,
because I’m lonely and few ever say “Hello”!

Listen, Listen
See, no hear me screaming for help from you,
because this is not really what I want to do!

Pity, Pity
There’s just nobody who seems to care for me,
because I have no friends to keep me company!

Help, Help
Understand why I no longer have the will to live.
Love and compassion are what I need you to give!!

Sheila Bowyer Kline
Suicide is rampant today among all ages, and walks of life - we have students, those who are bullied, have lost means of support, those who are lonely, ones who feel the pressures of life, and demands of a job. It is unfortunate that there are those, be the ones who consider ending one's life, family, friends, or even a casual acquaintance, who have no one to turn to when they feel as if they can't survive the problems of life. The victim may feel misery, grief, feelings of hopelessness and too often as they are all alone with their feelings of sadness!
If you know of anyone who is considering suicide - talking about, considering it, have attempted it already, PLEASE reach out them by being a person who truly care, by showing them LOVE!
Every life is worth living!

“When people kill themselves, they think they're ending the pain, but all they're doing is passing it on to those they leave behind.”
― Jeannette Walls
