Guatemala’s Air Force surveyed the Motagua River in the city Gualan and other areas on October 11, to assess water levels, flooding, and crop damage following storm Julia, the Guatemalan Army said.
At least 13 people were killed in the storm across Guatemala, and a large area of crops was destroyed, according to local news reports citing officials.
The storm was downgraded from a tropical cyclone on October 10, officials said.
