I’m Hugh McTavish. Tim Walz decided to deliberately throw 316 people into the misery of major clinical depression, 350 kids out of school, 126 workers out of their jobs, and make 1,640 people less happy and less free, and kill a third of a person age 42 with 38 years of life to live in increased deaths of despair, in the hope that all that sacrifice would prevent one COVID death, typically of an 84-year old in a nursing home with less than a year to live. And it did not even prevent that one COVID death. (These are the ratios if the lockdowns had prevented 200,000 COVID deaths in U.S. And the increased deaths of young people turned out to be closer to 1 person not a third of a person.)
