Man Kneads Candy By Hand in Baños, Ecuador 🇪🇨

Melcocha is a popular candy made in Ecuador from pure sugar cane. Melcocha means marshmallow, but this candy is much closer to taffy than it is to our fluffy bonfire buddies. The tradition is to pull and knead the warm sugary blob by hand before it is cut and packaged. Strong arms and backs are needed.
