They never slowed transmission

The purported justification for firing and banishing the unvaccinated was that they are risks for infection. It never even made sense on its own terms, because vaccination programs never aim to push the unvaccinated into their own social networks. And it was never ethical, at any rate.

But the “justification” that it stops transmission was never true.
