Deer

Cervids (Cervidae Goldfuss, 1820) are a family of artiodactyl mammals, many of which are known by the common name deer.
The natural range of cervids includes almost all of Europe (all of northern and eastern Europe but also much of southern and western Europe), all of Asia (from Indonesia to Siberia and from Turkey to the Chukci Peninsula), plus both Americas. In Africa, on the other hand, cervids have become extinct.
