Pink Flamingo

The pink flamingo or greater flamingo (Phoenicopterus roseus Pallas, 1811) is the largest and most widespread species in the flamingo family. This species is widespread in Africa, the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East and southern Europe.[3] Its closest relatives are the red flamingo and the Chilean flamingo, which were previously considered conspecific with the pink flamingo but are now considered separate species.
