Overwatch 2 has been hotfixed to prevent players from buying items with in-game chat.

This bug was first brought to attention by Reddit user Dracyoshi.

Blizzard has stated it is unable to offer "refunds or any compensation for unlocks made with in-game currency in Overwatch".

This bug is just one in a string of issues that have plagued the game since launch, lets's hope things improve!
