Bears rookie WR Velus Jones Jr. scored his first TD of the season on a pop pass from Justin Fields. Jones Jr. played just 3 offensive snaps for Chicago on Sunday, but Harrison believes he needs more playing time considering WRs like Dante Pettis and Ihmir Smith-Marsette are playing real snaps and making critical mistakes. Will Pettis or Smith-Marsette get cut when WR N’Keal Harry gets activated from IR soon? Center Sam Mustipher needs to be benched after another poor performance. Lucas Patrick has struggled at guard and would be better off playing center, which is what the Bears signed him to do in NFL Free Agency. Chicago has left guard options in Alex Leatherwood, Ja’Tyre Carter and Michael Schofield until Cody Whitehair returns from injury.
