India, Delhi, Jama Masjid: I went to visit this Mosque and I was shocked when they asked me for money to visit its courtyard!
1) I strongly believe that any place of worship shouldn't have a price tag on it. And in fact, after traveling most of the planet, this is the first time it happened to me.
2) I believe that making only foreigners pay doesn't help tourism in India, and especially making them pay to only visit a courtyard. This country is the second per population, but it's only the 21st most visited on the planet. Treating all foreigners as if they were rich doesn't make sense, most people save money the entire year to spend 2 weeks in India!

One of the most visited cities on the planet, Rome, in Italy, has found the following solution: both foreigners and locals pay the same price (usually an affordable one), but if you can't afford it, the first Sunday of every month every museum is free for both locals and tourists.
The Masjid-i Jehan-Numa (lit. 'World-reflecting Mosque'), commonly known as the Jama Masjid of Delhi, is one of the largest mosques in India.
