5 AÑOS HURACÁN MARÍA

To think that 5 years later we had survived one of the worst phenomena of nature that swept our island with great fury, where we were born and grew up and lived a lifetime; it was something that before september 20, 2017 (such a day as today) NONE OF US thought that a hurricane with this force of category 5 before the eye made landfall in boriken, category 4 at the eye at 6:18 an enter the area eastern Puerto Rico to be stationary for more than 24 hours. After this day remember how the town of Barranquitas Puerto Rico and the rest of the island turned out; start wandering all of us like "zombies" trying to believe in the catastrophic conditions in which we are left! Today, unfortunately, we remember this day while suffering another phenomenon that caused damage during this past weekend and this Monday, September 19, reopening wounds that are trying to heal even after the tremors of December and the past pandemic that remind us of sadness and suffered pain. We thank all the responders and volunteers both in Puerto Rico and here in Florida, United States, for the help we received and the help we are beginning to receive due to Hurricane Fiona! Pensar que 5 años mas tarde se había sobrevivido a uno de los peores fenómenos de la naturaleza que barrio con bastante furia a nuestra isla en la cual nacimos y crecimos y vivimos toda una vida; era algo que antes del 20 de septiembre del 2017 (tal día como hoy) NINGUNO DE NOSOTROS pensábamos que un huracán con esta fuerza de categoría 5 antes del ojo tocar tierra de boriken, categoría 4 al ojo a las 6:18an entrar por el área este de Puerto Rico para estar estacionario por más de 24 horas. Luego de este día recordar cómo quedó el pueblo de Barranquitas Puerto Rico y el resto de la isla; empezar a vagar todos nosotros como "zombies" tratando de creer en las condiciones catastróficas en qué quedamos! Hoy lastimosamente recordamos este día estando sufriendo otro fenómeno que hizo daño durante este fin de semana pasado y este lunes 19 de septiembre re abriendo heridas que están tratando de sanar aún después de los temblores de diciembre y la pasada pandemia que nos recuerdan la tristeza y el dolor sufrido. Agradecemos a todos los respondedores y voluntarios tanto en Puerto Rico como acá en Florida Estados Unidos por la ayuda que recibimos y la que se está empezando a recibir por el huracán Fiona! Muy agradecidos eternamente por ayudarnos a levantarnos cada vez que un desastre nos afecta!! Mil gracias y que papá Dios los continue bendiciendo a ustedes y sus familiares! MIL GRACIAS!
