Rifle Foundations - Buttstock Placement

First and foremost I’m a tactical shooter. I wouldn’t train foundational skills and techniques that don’t translate to operational uses and different kit set ups. I wear a lot of different gear when I work and want to have the same techniques across all setups when possible. This just makes sense to me.

I hear a lot of statements about that won’t work wearing this or how to do that in gear. Just because I don’t make videos running around ranges in kit shooting urban prone doesn’t mean I don’t train in kit. I’d be willing to bet I’m on the high side of time spent in kit currently and over my life. I like the discussions and please don’t stop challenging anything you hear. You should be able to defend your opinions and techniques with first hand experience either in training or operationally. The discussions are worthwhile in my opinion.

Just wanted to give a more detailed look at how I connect to my rifle and what it looks like across three basic setups: slick , vest and vest/helmet/nods.
