"LUCASFILM IS A DISASTER," claims high level source in toy manufacturing industry regarding brand power and merchandise sales. It's even beginning to have an impact on CLASSIC Star Wars brand sales (Original Trilogy). Disney Star Wars Sequel Trilogy merchandise collected dust and cluttered shelves with scores of those toys hitting bargain bins almost immediately after release. Now it seems Marvel is moving down the same path.

According to a highly knowledgable source (with decades working in toy manufacturing) who contacted ThatParkPlace.com said that major Toy manufacturers are effectively being forced to make MARVEL / MCU products that will NOT SELL (SHE HULK, JANE THOR, BLACK WIDOW, MS MARVEL...) in order to have access to those that do ( IRON MAN, CAPTAIN AMERICA, THOR ...)

In other words, the FEMALE MCU characters do NOT sell but these licensees / toy making companies are forced to produce them if they want to use the CLASSIC MCU (Phase 1 thru 3) headline characters that still hold the brand together. GIRLS ARE NOT BUYING MARVEL.

As a reminder Disney supposedly bought Marvel for the boys...

Source claims "ETERNALS was the WORST" when it came to disastrous sales. There was virtually zero interest in the film and characters, and SHANG CHI was only slightly better.

MARVEL brand power took a huge hit apparently when they began over maturing Disney Plus with mid-tier / mediocre shows with low level characters that are almost completely unable to move merchandise.
