You Are Turning Our Children Against Us! Parent Calls Out School for Homoerotic Books & Grooming

October 3, 2022 at the Ankeny, Iowa Public School Board Meeting parents were concerned about the lack of response to the Drag Show held in the Ankeny High School for children.

One of the concerned parents, Michelle Lindell states “My son would’ve gone to Ankeny schools, but because of your Communist way of doing Covid masking, I decided to not allow him to go to your schools. So that was money that you miss out that would’ve come to you guys. You are no longer allowed…I will not give you the power to have that over my children just because of masks.”

Michelle continues “Then we go into the books you are allowing in the schools and if you want to say that you’re not doing it personally, then you need to be finding out who is putting these books in the schools and they need to be fired, because this stuff is not supposed to be what our children are learning in schools…”

Michelle is referring to the acceptance of controversial books endorsed under the guise of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, some of which actually feature illustrations of nude minors of the same orientation having sex such as Gender Queer. Several graphic homoerotic books with controversial images and dialog have been a topic of controversy in the Ankeny School district over the last year.

Michelle continues to call out the school district “Learning about how to masturbate by fifth grade with DEI and all of that crap which you are liking to think is good for the community, because it involves everyone. No. Our children are going to be learning that stuff from us and not from you guys. “

Michelle continues to point out the ironic convenience of problems with “live stream” feeds from Ankeny. Iowa Raw has been informed that the “live stream” is not actually live, so it is likely that the feed was probably not up at the time of the meeting. Michelle points that out during the meeting as she holds up her phone. In 2021, other meetings featuring speakers such as Kimberly Reicks, and Emily Peterson conveniently placed the controversial right-leaning speaker(s) first. The video occasionally did not start until after the speaker presented or conveniently experienced audio/visual problems censoring the speaker.

Michelle goes on “Also, the online junk….It’s not on right now. You’re not live streaming, but we are. And everybody is going to see that you guys continuously make it so that people can’t watch the meetings. You’re getting called out on that. Schools are overstepping. They should not be in our children’s brains the way they are. I have children -- Two of them who are part of this system. You guys have indoctrinated and groomed. It is not ok. Your jobs are now on the line. We’re coming for your guys’ positions, because this is not acceptable in any way shape or form. You are turning our children against us! And then when they hurt themselves, they are going to say it’s our fault because we wouldn’t there for them when you think that we should be, but guess what, we are normally not given a chance til after they have already decided they want a transition. This is not acceptable. Never, in a million years would any of this be allowed in any kind of world before Covid, but guess what….We woke up to it, we see what you’re doing , and we’re no longer going to allow you to have the power to do this to our children. That is it.”
