A Funeral Service for William “Bill” Bradtmueller

William “Bill” Bradtmueller, 87, of Newton, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Carolina Caring in Newton.

He was born August 14, 1935 in Allen County, Indiana to the late William and Caroline Berning Bradtmueller. Bill was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Conover and was a United States Marines veteran. He enjoyed woodworking, was involved with the Hands and Feet Card Club and Men’s bible study group at his church, and enjoyed going on mission trips.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Bradtmueller; and 11 brothers and sisters.

Dean Bradtmueller and wife Linda of Payne, OH
Daniel Bradtmueller of Fort Wayne, IN

Daughters: Denise Johnson and husband Scott of Newton
Debra Bradtmueller of Newton

Sister: Bernadine Leiter of Syracuse, IN

Grandchildren: Danielle Hall, Craig Bradtmueller, Brandi Wise, Ashley Bradtmueller, Anthony Bradtmueller, Suzanne Zastrow, David Johnson, Joanna Lee, Devin Johnson, Mary Johnson, and Chanceler Johnson

Great-Grandchildren: Harlee Wise, Hawkin Wise, Caleb Bradtmueller, Janna Lee, Micah Johnson, Evangeline Bradtmueller, and unborn Baby Lee

A memorial service to celebrate Bill’s life will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Conover. Rev. Anton Lagoutine will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 4:00 to 5:15 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church.
