West Virginia GOP Gov. Jim Justice on Friday sign into law a measure that prohibits abortion in his state with some exceptions including rape and the life of the mother. 
The West Virginia House passed the bill earlier this month that also includes exceptions for fetal anomalies and medical emergencies.
For the exceptions for rape and incest, the victim must report the crime to law enforcement. Minors have up until 14 weeks to have an abortion and adults have eight weeks, according to local TV station WBOY-12 News.
