The market is on edge, literally...and the Federal Reserve seems to be nudging it over that edge...on purpose. Their excuse is to cut demand, to squelch inflation, and do exactly the opposite of what their charter says they must do...which is achieve maximum employment and stable prices. Weird, since the Feds are largely the reason we are in this spot.
