Although there are variations through vocal melodies tracks adding and subtracting. This song is basically the same 12 bars all the way through. I wrote the lyrics first and the melody for the song came to me as I was writing the lyrics. This is not my normal work process working back from melody. I didn't realize until I showed the band this song that the song is the same key(s) throughout the song.

This did suit the song in my opinion being one of the darkest songs in the Terarrim set. It;s meant to be slower paced and more dramatic. In addition the Lead guitarist who loved improvising with his lead guitar was let loose on this track. He really brought the song to life in both practice and live. Due to the nature of the song it could be extended if the crowd was into the lead guitar playing of John.

While I can't really do John justice with my version of the guitar work. I'm very happy with the overall production and the wall of gothic sound. I was tentative to approach this project but glad I did it in the end.

Funny thing is I Finished a tad early for Halloween 2022.

Apart from the LTD Viper 300M guitar and vocals everything else was done on the AKAI MPC Live 2 including mixing and mastering and fx.
