Blood Structure and Function: Why is Blood Important

In this video, we'll dig into the components of blood and talk about why it's important. We talk about the erythrocytes (red blood cells), Leukocytes (white blood cells), and thrombocytes (platelets) and show how they contribute to the 3 main functions of blood: transportation (nutrients, hormones, and oxygen), protection (think: immune system), and homeostasis).
