Gemini Oasis Animals| Quality Time with Birds and Dogs

Just spending some quality time with our #dog, Dakota (an Australian Shepherd) and bird, Zazu (our 29yr old #Cockatiel).

Training and caring for #animals is easier when they trust and respect you. One way to have this is to have a good relationship with them and one way to build a good relationship is to spend time with them. In this video, I'm giving you an example of how you can relax and do something you enjoy while simultaneously build your relationship AND do some training with them. What's the training going on in this video? So glad you asked... Several things... Here are a few:

1. Continuing to build Zazu's confidence with a dog close by
2. Continuing to build Zazu's trust in me and my decisions
3. Continuing to teach Dakota to respect my bubble AND Zazu's bubble
4. Continuing to help Dakota's anxieties of "sharing" me with others
