Deuteronomy 15:7-8 King James Version
7 If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother:
8 But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY FRIENDS!!!

How does generosity meet immediate needs?

How can it encourage you to also look further?

I found these questions from this morning's devotional really challenging, as well as very thought provoking, because I'll admit that I'm very hesitant in certain areas when it comes to giving. The reason I am, is because of some very bad past experiences, that God is continually helping me to overcome, but one thing I never want to do, is withhold my heart, or my generous spirit from others. I believe it's very important to be generous, but it's also important to use wisdom in generosity. That's why I'd like to share some things that God put on my heart through this blog tonight and hopes that you see how important it is to use wisdom and generosity, but also how you can be generous in the most basic ways. Come join me in this vlog and see just what I mean, and I pray that you learn to be generous in the most basic ways too. 😊

As I close this post with all of you tonight, I pray that you will never withhold your generosity from someone because of a terrible experience, or because of any hard heartedness on your heart. I pray that you also well show complete kindness and compassion to those that you give to, and not look down on them, or treat them like they're inferior because their need. I also especially pray that you'll never, and I mean never attempt to take advantage of their need, so that you can profit off of them. Finally, and most importantly, if you know of somebody out there who's struggling financially, physically, emotionally, or into any way, don't be afraid to go to them and help them out. You don't need to have money, but you need a compassionate, willing, and obedient heart to do so. I've said this before, and I'll say it again, go over and have coffee with them, or bring food over for them, and be that listening ear to them. If they're looking for a job and can't find one, and if you have a job to offer them, offer it to them! Don’t withhold your compassion from them but be willing to help them!

UNTIL FRIDAY:

HAVE A VERY BLESSED EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
