Ukraine's 2030 World Cup bid boosts morale in Kyiv

Soccer can be used “to come back to normal life” and “to finish the war”, the head of the Ukraine's soccer federation, Andriy Pavelko said on Wednesday (October 5), after his country joined Spain and Portugal in their bid to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup, in what the countries hailed as an act of European solidarity.
