With the passage of Bill 477 out of the Public Health Commission Republicans presented a bill to expand the language to study violence in general. Democrats, in the majority, dismissed the bill to focus solely on violence as it pertains to firearms. With the language of the proposed Bill 477, with the establishment of a committee to "study" gun violence, it is clear that this could easily lead to backdoor gun control...
