One of the pillars of object and utter failure in the Military today is the mandate to take the Covid shot for “Readiness”. I failed and complied with my companies mandate which forced us to take the Jab since we are “contract” employees of the US Gov’t. it’s one thing to willingly take a shot but another when forced to. Tonight, we have on LtCol Scott “Sonny” Duncan USMC who has the moral fortitude to resist this mandate at the cost of his career. Along with Scott is my good friend Ron Catlin, his son is a flight student and has been grounded for a year or more while they figure out what to do with him. So many senior Officer and Enlisted are being forced out without allowing them the reward of retirement and the younger members are stigmatized with basically a “Felony” code on their General under honorable discharge. I love my Marine Corps; I dislike the direction the Corps and other services are going in the direction of “Woke” decisions forcing a once “Apolitical” service to become the Petri dish of social and political wokeness.
