Needles Ferry runs between Needles BC, Canada and Fauquier

The Needles cable ferry runs across the Lower Arrow Lake, about 59 kilometres south of Nakusp on Highway 6, between Fauquier (east side) and Needles (west side).

The west landing was originally known as "The" Needles because of long thin sand spits in the area.

Needles was submerged under rising water ith the creation of the Keenlyside Dam in 1968.

The farming community of about 200 saw their post office, general store, and school either moved or disapear as the dams resevoir slowly filled in the 1968. All the remains of Needles is its cemetery.

Needles ferry capacity is 40 vehicles and 135 passengers.
