I love turning everything into a game. This morning I got an idea
How long would it take me to see all 750 homes available for sale in Redding California and create a fast paced, light hearted video on this YouTube Channel …
Living in Redding California.
Keep it under 20 minutes with the style of Mr Beast or Dude Perfect.
Maybe I could set a Guiness World Record. It seemed like a great idea.
I was serious, and started planning the most efficient way to see all 750 homes.
Scheduling with sellers & renters.
Driving the most efficient paths.
Getting the key quickly out of the lockbox and opening the front door.
Taking quick mental notes of the living room, kitchen, and back yard.
Do a quick 20 second video recap.
Save the video
Get back in the car, and go.
Eventually editting all the footage into a 20 minute video.

I started imagining all the funny stuff I would find in houses along the way, and some of the awkward situations I would get myself in.
The more I thought about it,
the more excited I got
Then reality set in.
What kind of time commitment would this be?
5 Minutes to set up each visit
5 Minutes getting to the house
5 Minutes going through the House, and quick video
5 Minute to upload, and edit each video.
20 minutes per house.
OK, not bad.
Wait 750 homes
That is 15,000 minutes.
Which is Really 250 Hours
and If I worked every day straight for 8 hours a day I would be finished in 31 days.
I still haven’t calculated eating, bathroom breaks, taking calls from clients, negotiating & strategy sessions for my current clients, showing homes, Listing homes, etc…

Now Im not saying I will never do it, but I want to,
I just can’t right now.
Someday I am going to break a Real Estate Guiness World Record!
After going through this mental process I don’t feel so guilty that I haven’t actually seen all 750 houses ... yet.

I just looked another 100 new listings just hit the market.
