Beto O’Rourke Says He Will Buy Back Texans’ AR-15s As Governor of Texas

Beto O'Rourke spoke at SXSW on Saturday and was asked to clarify his position on confiscatory gun control.

He gave his direct answer only, "after some prodding," which means he was trying to weasel his way around the question, and when he realized he couldn't, he just flat out said his actual position.

"I don't think anyone should have one," said O'Rourke. "And if I can find the consensus within the Legislature to have a law in the state of Texas that allows us to buy those AK-47s and AR-15s back, we will."

Even after giving his direct answer, he tried to weasel his way out of it by calling it a buyback. Anti-Gun Politicians like BETO do this all the time because BUY Back Sounds a lot nicer than Gun Confiscation.

Buy Back Makes it sound like you'll have the option to sell your guns back to the government, but when it passes, you quickly realize it's not optional; it's mandatory!

That makes a Gun Buy Back literally a Gun Confiscation.

In 2020 during an interview with CBS, he admitted that A BuyBack would mean that if you didn't sell your guns back to the government, they would take them from you and then give you a fine!

You see, back in the day, these Anti-2A politicians and the Anti-Gun Lobby would flat out say confiscation.

They realized this was a bad look, so they changed it to Mandatory Buy Backs.

Then 2A Advocates such as myself broke it down and said forcing me to sell my gun when I don't want to is still a gun confiscation.

Now, they dropped the Mandatory and call it a buyback, but it's still mandatory, which means it is still a gun confiscation.

Long story short, BETO is a lying Anti-2a weasel.

Texas is one of the most pro-gun states in the country. We keep guns in our bathroom. When they pass the collection plate in church, half of it is filled with AMMO.

Do you have any idea how embarrassing it would be to have a Beto O'rourke as the Governor of Texas!
