Many independent creators in our daily coverage don't even realize what we are dealing with. We don't understand why media companies behave the way they do, despite it being so antithetical to profitability. There are a myriad of answers required to bring the whole thing into perspective. One of the primary answers is the "Attention Economy".

Some of my favorite creators are hitting on this about the same time I am. We struggled with understanding what was at play here. I have watched The Quartering, Mindight's Edge, Nerdrotic circle around this same subject recently. And just like "fanbaiting", we now have another piece in the puzzle laid out in front of us.

What is the Attention Economy? What does it mean in our daily lives? Those answers and more in today's video of course but those are some heavy duty conversations starters.
