Giant pandas Kai Kai and Jia Jia's stay in Singapore will be extended for five more years to 2027 after 10 years of living in Singapore's River Wonders attraction. The extension agreement was signed
witnessed by Singapore's Minister of State for Trade and Industry Low Yen Ling and Chinese Ambassador to Singapore Sun Haiyan. They are so cute," said a young visitor to the panda enclosure. Kai Kai and Jia Jia were sent to Singapore in 2012, three years after the agreement on cooperative research on giant pandas was signed for the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Singapore. Giant panda cub Le Le was born in River Safari in Singapore on Aug 14, 2021 as Kai Kai and Jia Jia's firstborn.
