Prime Minister Justin Trudeau presents awards for teaching excellence at a ceremony in Ottawa. These awards honour Canadian elementary and secondary school teachers in all disciplines for educational achievements. Karina Gould (minister of families, children and social development) and Andy Filmore (parliamentary secretary to the minister of innovation, science and industry) are also in attendance.
