Sorry for the delay in this episode. There were things that delayed it that were completely out of my control. In this episode I talk about Ricky and his umbrella. I also go over his comments on World's. I give my two cents on how I think World's could be improved in general. I also talk about the GMC results and the dominance of Kristin Tattar and Ohn Scoggins. So much happening in this episode!

What he described was the season PotY/Season MVP
Paul McBeth responded saying that Worlds are a great metric and yearlong metric aren’t great
Funny the guy who has lots of world titles says worlds are great and the guy with the better season stats says that’s a better metric
It wouldn’t hurt to look at the World’s format going forward
Before touring was sustainable it was the only time the best competed against each other
Now they compete against each other weekly

All agreed there was nothing different/special about the GMC Playoff event
As a viewer it didn’t feel different than a regular pro tour stop
Cut line was never really mentioned
After each round no added drama of players getting cut from MVP
Just felt boring
Don’t know if the playoffs is the right term for this event
Could be slow walking it to something better
The people not qualifying for MVP not shocking
Uli was cut due to covid
