In The Pocket All The Way

Chuck Brown and the Soul Searchers with their "In The Pocket" rolls into the Tower of Power's "Ain't Nothing Stopping Us Now and the Segue City Special clears the table and the board and gets the week off to a rousing start.

It was a fun filled weekend of sports and going to an antique car show where a guy put took a rusted out body of an ancient '50s Studebaker pick up truck and welded it back together with the chassis and engine from a '70s Pontiac Firebird to create a Rust Rod that actually runs... kinda like what we do with segues around here...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
