Like so many of us in the world.....that lengthy and ever present feeling of hopelessness, fear, worry, anxiety and being completely alone was joyfully and almost painfully relieved when I saw our glorious truckers rolling down the highway to Ottawa January 2022.....so much so i sobbed for hours and then i danced for joy and then the word FREEDOM erupted from the very core of my being in song...over and over again! And suddenly this song just fell out of all of that emotion and joy....quickest song i've ever written and written from the feeling of hope, joy, relief, love and almost coming to life again! Dedicated with love, respect and many many thanks to all of our freedom fighting heros! Oh...p.s......i'm working on new songs......i'm hoping to be able to record this song on an album of truck songs in the not too distant future....just about to apply for some grants actually!! So .....i will announce when it happens but look forward to my upcoming album titled..... "If You Like Trucks...."
