For all people who are currently facing this disaster, please try to be safe!
The US National Hurricane Center has confirmed that the winds were topping 155 miles per hour. The eye of the storm is sitting about 20 miles from Fort Myers, Florida, which has already visible strong winds and heavy storm surges.

Even with the efforts of energy groups and municipal personnel, who've been running across the clock to repair outages, upwards of 540,000 people have already been left with out strength as the typhoon makes its way thru Florida’s western coast. This wide variety is expected to increase as the class 4 hurricane maintains to pass via southern Florida.
