Poverty and how the left feed you rubbish about Relative poverty

Often the left will tell you x amount of people are in poverty.

What they often talk about is Relative poverty.

Relative poverty is if your below 50% of the average household income (about £28k).

The ONLY possible way presumably to cure Relative poverty would presumably be to make sure everybody is paid the same amount. So someone who is unemployed playing computer games gets the same income as a doctor working 60 hours a week.

Relative poverty simply often means someone having to save a few weeks to buy a £3000 TV.

Whenever someone on the left tells you that x amount of people are in poverty. Ask them to confirm id they are referring to Relative poverty and if they know what the average household income is.

Ask them too to explain how an 18 year old living at home on £150 week wage with no bills, who goes out each night with his or her mates, and has a Brand new car is in poverty.
