A look at the non science and facts Health Canada uses to support their exposure limits in Safety Code 6 or there is a reason why many refer to Canada's Safety Code as the worst in the world, competition for that dubious honour from other countries.

As Dr. Salford notes we have always had physical sources of EMR from natural sources including cosmic irradiation, atmospheric electric fields and the terrestrial magnetism. Doubt even Dr Salford envisioned the frequencies would increase with mmwaves. Life on earth never developed to cope with the new frequencies. Y

The guideline for many western governments comes from a Self appointed group of telco people the International Commission on Non-Ionising Radiation Protection (ICNIRP), it is a private by invitation only club of the telco industry. I asked them some questions about their position on EMR.
Was expecting peer reviewed science to support their guidelines espoused on their web site from their lack of science they provided me I assume their limits are not based on science.
As inadequate as their response was, it was a response. Same question to Health Canada they have not responded. Health Canada wrote Safety Code 6 (SC 6) as a guideline for exposure to radiation in Canada. Canada is one of the few countries in the world with no Electromagnetic radiation standards. SC 6 is an unenforceable guideline for exposure for the public.
I sent the question to I cc’d my MP. Elizabeth May, her office had a relevant response, they sent an inquiry to the Library of Parliament and received 6 pages of references, thanks Elizabeth and staff. Have not worked my way through the reference list yet so far does not look like there are any that show where the numbers in the code came from.
