The Secret of Selling the Negro is a 1954 film financed by Johnson Publishing Company, the publisher of Ebony magazine, that was used to encourage advertisers to promote their products and services in "African-American media". For this video I'll be reacting to the film while drawing comparisons to the spending habits of black America today.
