How to make the best Avocado & Citrus soil. Real Good. Just Watch

In this video we make the best avocado and citrus mineral based container soil. Soil is the growing medium, not the nutrition source. Wood by products that are made and sold by the big box stores will, over time, continue to decompose (rot) and do the same to the root structure of these fragile plants that are in and around it. Root nutrition comes from the compost and fertilizer we add to the top of the soil layer (as in nature) that, as we water will work its way down into the root structure.
Our basic growing medium consists of:
1 part All Purpose Sand
1 part Pumice
1.5 parts Peat Moss
1/2 part Perlite
As you fill the bottom 1/3 of your container, water in the soil, again on the 2nd 1/3 of soil added and then add your fertilizer of choice and worm castings along with the sand layer we showed to the top 1/3 of the soil. Add mulch and watch it grow.
