3 Ways Quiet Quitting Hurts Everyone
At 25 I was hired by Fedex Sales.
Stimulus fueled quiet-quitting. Let me tell you 3 ways how “quiet quitting” hurts everyone.
I wasn’t built for their system. I wanted my own thing. But, I worked my ass off in the meantime. Putting in 50 hour weeks was normal.
20’s are working hard. 30’s are for re-evaluating. 40’s are for pouring fuel on the fire.
I’m an investor, founder, syndicator and coach. I invest in businesses and guide startups through recessions. If you watch this till the end it might change your life - like it did mine.
You might want to save and share this video with others whom you care about. I was the youngest person they ever hired. Everyone was older.
Why? Because old people had a stronger work ethic. They work harder, longer and don’t care about a few extra hours.
Today, we’re heading in reverse. 3 things will happen.
1. Younger people will be replaced by more willing older workers who receive all the “benefits and drawbacks.” But, they won’t mind.

2. Younger people will have to fend for themselves and find a new path.
Fedex taught me structured skills.
Taught me how to sell.
Taught me how to grow.
Then, taught me to venture out on my own when I was ready.
3. Both are OK. But, young people will be worse off without corporate skills. While not for everyone, it’s an important foundation for the masses.
What’s the point? To each his own.
Grow in your own way, but don’t get caught up in the hype of quiet quitting. We all need to provide for our families, our communities and ourselves.
Do what’s best for you and don’t be afraid to ask for some coaching.
