Shooting destructive critters is one thing, while cooking and eating them is another. Dr. Russ’ father taught him “not to shoot it unless he was prepared to eat it.” It was a rule that he enjoyed once he knew how to cook the wild game that he harvested. Today, both he and Dr. Paula host several wild game dinners each year for charity … and when they hunt with powder or air guns, they can already taste the great game flavors that will be fixed up that evening in hunt camp.
